Carbon Planet have carried out a Carbon Audit of the end-to-end journey of a letter sent using hybrid technologies. They found that carbon emissions are reduced by around 80% in comparison to traditional methods of sending post.

Royal Mail use approximately 150m litres of diesel each year in their delivery of 80 million items of mail every day and IMS Hybrid Mail provides an easy to use and cost effective solution that can reduce this pollution significantly.

At IMS Hybrid Mail we are currently looking into further reducing our carbon footprint by offering the option of recycled paper and regionally printed envelopes.
